Kinexin Convention Management (Kinexin C.M.), operator of Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), successfully hosted a high-impact international roadshow in Seoul in collaboration with its parent organization, KINTEX—Korea’s largest state-owned exhibition and convention center.
The roadshow offered a comprehensive overview of India’s rapidly expanding economy, the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, and the accelerating growth of the country’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. It also underscored the strategic role of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in driving industrial corridor development and its integration with large-scale infrastructure projects, including Yashobhoomi and its surrounding district.

Strong Turnout Reflects Rising Industry Interest
Held at international standards, the event drew over 350 C-level executives, alongside approximately 50 prominent business influencers, content creators, and YouTubers from India and Korea. Many attendees command substantial digital reach, with subscriber bases ranging from tens of thousands to several million. The audience also included leading academics, policymakers, and industry experts specializing in India–Korea economic relations.
The program opened with a welcome address by Min Woo Lee, followed by a keynote presentation from Phil (H.P.) Chung.
Chung’s keynote highlighted:
- India’s long-term economic trajectory and growth outlook
- Strategic opportunities within the MICE sector
- Yashobhoomi’s positioning as a premier venue in South Asia
- Entry pathways for Korean companies and organizers into the Indian market

Media Attention and Market Momentum
The roadshow garnered significant coverage from leading Korean media outlets, including Yonhap News Agency and Maeil Business Newspaper, reflecting growing interest in India’s economic ascent and the strategic importance of Yashobhoomi.
Notably, a strong number of participants have already expressed interest in future editions of similar roadshows in Korea, signaling sustained engagement and market appetite.
Strengthening Korea–India Exhibition Collaboration
In media interactions, Chung noted:
“After three years of operating Yashobhoomi, we are now entering a phase of full-scale operations, with a focus on attracting and nurturing global trade exhibitions. This joint roadshow with KINTEX has effectively demonstrated both the project’s scale and the vast opportunities within the Indian economy.”
He further revealed ongoing discussions with leading Korean exhibition organizers, including Exporum, K-Fairs, and Messe Esang, alongside venue-owning companies, to facilitate expansion into India over the next two to three years.
Expanding Media Outreach and Cross-Border Promotion
The event also featured participation from Abhishek Gupta (Lucky), widely known as “Lucky.” Kinexin C.M. announced his upcoming visit to New Delhi to support a follow-up promotional campaign at Yashobhoomi.
Leveraging his extensive media presence, the initiative aims to amplify awareness of Yashobhoomi as India’s flagship convention and exhibition venue, while promoting bilateral economic opportunities to audiences in both countries.
Unlocking Sector-Specific Exhibition Opportunities
A key highlight of the roadshow was the identification of opportunities for over 100 Korean companies to enter the Indian market and develop specialized, industry-focused exhibitions across high-growth sectors.
The discussions also addressed the practical challenges of building new exhibition ecosystems in India, particularly in alignment with the country’s industrial expansion and regional development strategies.
