Bangkok
Land Company Limited, the sole operator of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co.,
Ltd, is taking a bold step toward becoming a stellar event and entertainment
destination in Asia enticing Indian and Chinese audiences to expand into new
markets. In a significant move, the Company also looks for new partnerships to
establish a joint venture including IMPACT Live Nation Co., Ltd. Through collaborative efforts, IMPACT is
confident in reaching its 9,000 million baht revenue by 2027.
Paul
Kanjanapas, CEO of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the operator of
IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, stated that event organizers worldwide regard
Thailand as a top destination for hosting any type of event.
Thailand holds the 5th position in
Asia and is ranked 1st in the ASEAN region for hosting the highest
number of international meetings. Beyond meetings, the Thai concert market is
booming with no fewer than 900 international and domestic concerts held
annually. This boom in live entertainment is a significant driver of the Thai
economy, not only generating revenue from employment within the events industry
but also stimulating spending on travel, accommodation, and food in and around
event venues. This influx of spending further boosts the overall economy.
Paul continued, “We've
recently unveiled our new vision and mission: IMPACT Muang Thong Thani aims to
become a leader in Asia's MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and
Exhibitions) business and a globally recognized destination for business
meetings and entertainment events. Moving forward, we're adopting a more
proactive business expansion strategy to create new opportunities and drive
company growth. This also aligns with our goal of elevating Thailand to a key
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) hub in the region. Currently,
our main revenue streams come from four core areas: venue rental services,
integrated event management, hotel operations, and food and beverage services.”
“Our first priority is
venue rental services, which constitutes our primary revenue. For the
international market, we're focusing on expanding our client base into new
regions comprising India, China, and the Middle East. These regions show a
strong demand for events and can potentially generate significant economic
growth potential,” said Paul.
Alongside IMPACT Arena
and Thunder Dome, we're now offering new spaces for entertainment events
comprising Challenger halls 1 – 3 with over 60,000 square meters of
multifunctional space and Exhibition halls 5 – 12 totaling 45,000 square meters
of space. For outdoor festivals, our 150,000-square-meter versatile space by
the lake can serve the purpose.
Integrated event management and equipment rental business help us pull in revenue as well. We've been actively creating more of our own events, including trade shows, business matching events, and lifestyle-oriented events. This helps diversify the types of events held at our venue.
Earlier in 2025, we launched the "IMPACT NEXT" package, which is designed to attract new organizers and those with creative ideas. This initiative has been very well-received, bringing in new clients and an increased number of events. Furthermore, this past June, we successfully launched a new type of event: the grand automotive festival "IMPACT Speed Fest 2025" by the Muang Thong Thani lakeside. This inaugural event was a great success, and we aim to establish it as the "Destination of Thailand Car Culture" in the future.
IMPACT
Muang Thong Thani has seen positive growth in the first half of 2025 (January-June),
with a total of 341 events
hosted as follows. Looking ahead, bookings for the second half of 2025 (July-December)

Our third core business
is hotel operations. We currently manage two hotels: Novotel Bangkok IMPACT and
Ibis Bangkok IMPACT, offering a combined total of 1,000 rooms. This
sector shows promising growth, with occupancy rates consistently increasing.
Furthermore, we have
plans to build more hotels within the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani complex. We
anticipate expanding to 3,000 rooms by 2028 and further
increasing to 5,000 rooms within
the next five years.
Paul continued, “This
year marks a significant milestone for the Company including the announcement
of a new vision, a more aggressive business expansion strategy, and enhanced
collaborations with partners.”
“A key partnership is
the joint venture with Live Nation, which involves a 20-year lease
of the IMPACT Arena, valued at over 4.617 billion Thai Baht. The joint venture
company is currently being established, and we believe it will significantly
increase the image of IMPACT as a world-class entertainment destination.”
“These strategic moves
are projected to contribute to a revenue growth exceeding 4 billion Thai
Baht in 2025.
Furthermore,
IMPACT aims to reach a remarkable revenue target of 9 billion Thai
Baht by 2027,” Paul
concluded.
