Council of Indian Exhibition Organisers (CIEO), the only organiser centric council in India, has been actively and aggressively persuading, opening of NESCO halls for exhibitions in Mumbai, with the MCGM officials. Every sincere attempt to provide relevant data, information and updates to the authorities was made by CIEO to

impress upon them the importance of exhibitions to the State and the Country.

On April 19th 2022, Shri Suresh Kakani, Addl. Municipal Commissioner (Western Subs.) made an official announcement that NESCO halls will be released for Exhibitions.  As per the latest update the dismantling work at NESCO has started and will be completed in 2 – 3 days and shifting of medical equipment’s will take another month

Being one of the major exhibition venues of the city, opening of NESCO halls will not only be a blessing to the exhibition industry but will also boost all the ancillary industries related to exhibitions.

NESCO also has played a major role to the success by offering complete financial aid to MCGM for dismantling of halls to expedite the process so that the halls can be made available for exhibitions at the earliest. CIEO would like to thank its valued members for their trust and support and especially NESCO & GJEPC for their unconditional support and cooperation extended to make this happen.
