MBB-Consulting, a leading consulting group specialising in
international exhibitions, events and services announced today the formation of
the MBB-Consulting Partner Group with Tony Calanca, Chris Meyer, and Andrew
Furness as founding members.
MBB-Consulting will continue to
provide senior consulting services through its decades of global exhibition
experience while leveraging collective resources and management capabilities
from the newly formed Partner Group. The MBB-Consulting Partner Group will
strengthen the services offered by MBB-Consulting giving customers deeper
insights and access into exhibition management. MBB’s consultancy arm covers
five distinct areas: strategy; business recovery and agility; sales and
pricing; M&A and due diligence; and digital.
Tony Calanca joins with over three decades of experience leading in the exhibition industry, managing domestic and international trade and consumer shows for Reed Exhibitions (RX), Advanstar, UBM and Informa. Most recently, Tony served as Executive VP at Informa Markets, “I experienced the high quality B2B - TRADE SHOWS - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION – CONSULTANCY , consulting work of MBB-Consulting Group during my time at Informa and I’m honoured to join the MBB-Consulting Partner Group as a founding member” said Tony Calanca.
Chris Meyer
will also join as a founding member of the MBB-Consulting Partner Group. Chris
will bring experience from his former role as Executive Director of the World
Trade Center (WTC) Las Vegas. “Forming the MBB-Consulting Partner Group is a
huge achievement; MBB is the only agency to offer a unique mix of senior
consulting and operational expertise in the exhibition industry. I am thrilled
to be a founding member” said Chris Meyer.
Together with
Tony Calanca and Chris Meyer, Andrew Furness will be the third founding member
of the MBB-Consulting Partner Group. “I’m very much looking forward to working
alongside such respected and knowledgeable industry peers and contributing with
my international exhibition experience to the MBB-Consulting Partner Group”
added Andrew Furness who specialises in sustainability, commercial due
diligence and business strategy. Andrew has held a number of senior roles
within market leading companies and before becoming a consultant in 2018, he
was a Divisional Director at Tarsus Group where he oversaw the management of
the Group’s Turkish portfolio.
