It’s yet more innovation for the ETT Club in 2021, with the launch of a new event format: the Monthly Innovation Talk series. These ongoing, monthly events offer a great global platform to network and collaborate with like-minded people around the topic of the value proposition. The series will be chaired by Simon Foster.
This new format allows industry professionals to stay connected and join their peers from different sectors and countries to innovate, share their ideas and vision, debate, and continue to help the industry move onwards and upwards! Engaging content and challenges will be presented to participants, and sessions will include team working in smaller groups, giving everyone the chance to actively contribute by sharing solutions and asking questions. The Monthly Innovation Talk series will run once or twice a month, and there will be two-time slots – 08:00 and 16:00 (UK time) – to choose from. ETT Club members and non-members can join at any time, and sessions will be scheduled up to four months in advance.
Chairman of the new Monthly Innovation Talk series, Simon Foster, says: “2020 was the year nobody expected, as it literally stopped our industry in its tracks. Not being able to offer our core product to customers, and moving more towards digital events, was a real shakeup. For some, digital was a totally new space, while others were already operating there, but one thing is for sure: the “old normal” is no more! Now, perhaps more than ever, it’s up to us to rebuild and reclaim our position as a trusted part of the sectors, buyers and sellers we serve. This can only be done by creating a post-crisis USP that will bring customers back to our shows once traveling is possible. It’s time to focus on and re-imagine the value proposition of the event industry and our products, to ensure they are stronger and more relevant for the future. For that reason, I’m delighted and proud to be Chair of the new ETT Club Monthly Innovation Talk series focusing on this crucial topic!”
